 We are former pupils, teachers and founders of the “School of Tsibah” (Morning Stars). We are now residing in Germany, united as contemporary witnesses to bring light to the true image of our former school and to tell the story of our experiences there first hand. We want to defend the history of our former school, its members, teachers and founders from defamation, discredit, abuse and forgery.

The “Tsebah (Morning Star) School” was founded 1977 in the liberated area of the ELF, Hawashait, in Eritrea during the time of armed struggle and was known in Tigrinya as “bet timhirti[kokob] Tsebah”

Our Web is dedicated to prepare a common platform for young Eritreans with the Motto “with each other instead of against each other”.

The website is non-governmental, politically impartial, independent, free thinking as well as tolerant and open to all opinions and ideas.

Immediate goals of our website

It is serving as “class-reunion” for the school’s former pupils and for those who worked there or had direct and indirect influence on its formation.

It will not only serve as a medium of reviving the relationship of former members of the “ Tsebah family” but also pave a way for exchanging experiences with the former members of   <bet timhirty sewra> of the EPLF.

It will serve as a platform for all who are interested to see the true face of former school for scientific or journalistic researches and for those who are curious enough to acquire some knowledge about the life experience of children and under ages in Eritrea during the protracted war for liberation. For this purpose, we have prepared hundreds of photos in our archive that will be open soon.

Future goals of the Web-site

Our website will be serving as a medium of exchanging ideas and information in social cultural and many more fields.
